DESIGN PROCESS

Design fees start at $750.00 and could increase depending on the size of the project. The design phase is an interactive process between the sales person and the home owners. As custom designers, we require minimal direction from home owners. Our designers use the information provided to develop a plan based on motif and lifestyle with the foresight to integrate future considerations. The sales person documents specifications such as location of BBQ and size and style of patio, which ensures the accuracy of every design. The sales person collaborates with designers on all projects.

DAK recognizes that a home owner's budget is one of the most important issues when customizing designs. Every sales person is knowledgeable of costs pertaining to all aspects of design and construction, which helps home owners with their decision making process. Keep in mind that all design fees will be credited to installation if we are awarded the construction contract.

PRESENTATION PHASE

Upon being awarded the design contract, the sales person will contact the home owner within one week to schedule a presentation date. Designs and bids take on average three to four weeks for completion. The sales person returns to the home and presents scaled AutoCad drawing and a line itemized bid. DAK has found itemizing every cost related to the project empowers home owners to prioritize monies. We understand designs may have to be revised or modified therefore all revisions under two hours of work are free of charge. A final presentation is scheduled and estimated start dates are given to the home owners.
